Lanco Mechanicals was selected by Historical Home, one of our contract services clients, to provide remodel plumbing and electric service for a historical home renovation project located in Lancaster city. The unique 1920s home was updated with modern conveniences while still preserving the original charm of the property.
Our team was well-suited for this large-scale project, which included 4,000 sq. ft. of home space plus a 3-car garage and an additional 600 sq. ft of outdoor living space. We seamlessly worked alongside other trade partners to successfully problem solve and manage late change requests throughout the project.
An overhead power line needed to be relocated during the project and our team was able to coordinate a timely and safe execution of the move while maintaining power to the residence through a temporary line.
Old cast iron pipes and existing block/stone walls on the historic property posed challenges when reworking the plumbing and electrical, which we were able to manage and resolve.
For the outdoor living space, we installed infrared heaters to bring seasonal comfort to this new home addition.
Our client was extremely pleased with the project outcome and we look forward to partnering with them again.
